If you are a single woman you might be on the look out for a man over thirty and wondering if there are any left who haven't already been married or who don't have children and loads of baggage. The fact is that if there are single women aged over 30 out there, then there must be men of the same age. It is just finding them which might be the hard part.
If a man has reached his 30's and has not yet settled down you might be wondering if this is a good thing. Yes it could indicate that they have some sort of serious flaw, that they have lived with their Mum until very recently or that they have been hidden away in prison for some deed they did in their teens.
Or it could be that they are simply still on the lookout for the right person, much the same as you are. This doesn't mean that they won't have picked up a few bad habits in the last few years however.
If they have always lived alone or with mates you can expect that they might not be the best when it comes to keeping their house tidy. Either that or they are obsessive about cleanliness and can't stand the thought of anyone touching their DVD collection. They may have sent their laundry to their Mum every weekend for the last ten years and may have an unhealthy need to watch football every single day.
But there are advantages to single men in their 30's as well. Chances are they have worked out how to use the cooker and could whisk up a decent omelet. They are in the Jamie Oliver generation don't forget and have no qualms about chopping herbs with huge knives.
They will also have had a long time to work out who their perfect woman is. They are unlikely to spend very long getting to know someone who doesn't suit them. If you are still being invited round a week after you met, then you can assume things are going well.
Their dress sense and music taste should be perfectly formed and their career should be well on the way towards piles of cash. They will have gotten past their excesses of their youth and will be good fun and sensitive all in one.
In fact, guys over 30 can be regarded as being at the perfect age. They know who they are, they look after themselves still and might even have a little bit of distinguished grey and all women love that.
